A father and son from Annascaul will compete against each other on this weekend’s Kerry Winter Rally.
Alan O’Sullivan will make his debut in a newly acquired 1600cc Ford Escort.
His father Declan will compete for the first time in a Volkswagen Golf.
Alan’s first rally was the 2019 Circuit of Munster 2019 in a Honda Civic. He also competed in the Imokilly Rally and the Galway Summer Rally the same year and Birr the following season.
“Banna will be my first outing in a Ford Escort in class 11R and all going well I will be going to the Killarney Historic Rally too,” said Alan.
“For dad, Banna will be his first outing behind the wheel. He will be driving a Volkswagen Golf Mk1 in class 10.”
