Ballyduff motorcycle racer Anthony O’Carroll is planning a very busy end to the season.

He will contest five different events over the course of the next six weekends beginning with this weekend’s Cookstown 100 Road Races.

He will also venture to the UK for two rounds of the Thundersports Series alongside his commitment to the final two rounds of the Dunlop Irish Masters Championship at Mondello Park.

This weekend’s closed road event marks his second attempt at the famed County Tyrone venue having made his road racing debut there last year.“I should know where I am going this year, last year I went in blind and had to learn the circuit but I am looking forward to giving it a good lash this year,” he said.

He will return from Cookstown on Sunday morning before reloading his van and heading for England on Thursday.

He is entered in the sixth round of the Thundersports UK championship at Oulton Park on the weekend of September 17 and 18.

A week later he is back on home soil for the penultimate round of the Dunlop Masters after which he will have a weekend off before returning to Mondello for the final Irish round on October 9 and 10.

Less than a week later is back in the UK for the final round of the Thundersports series, at Cadwell Park on October 16 and 17.
