Craig Breen is to make changes to the set-up of his Hyundai i20 Coupe World Rally Car ahead of day two of the Croatia Rally.
Breen and his Killarney co-driver Paul Nagle ended day-one of the WRC’s newest event in fifth place.
At then end of Stage 8 Breen made reference to his lack of seat time in a World Rally car but also acknowledged that is he is very grateful to be in position to drive one too.

“I get to drive a World Rally Car for a day,” said the ever-modest Breen. “I have no reference point from my test- I will change somethings in the car for tomorrow.
Earlier in the day he said he was enjoying the Croatian event despite his times not matching the events frontrunners.

“I thought this loop of stages was going to be better for us, but we have not been able to gain back time as we wanted. The stages are really tricky, but we are still enjoying it. We will keep trying, there is a long, long way to go,” he said.
They enter the second day, 54.8 seconds off rally leader and teammate Thierry Neuville. Fellow Hyundai driver Ott Tanka is fourth – 22.9 seconds ahead of the Irish team while Adrian Fourmax is 19.9 seconds behind , in sixth, in his Ford Fiesta.
