Duagh-native Noel Moloney maintained his top five position in the Northern Rallysprint Series AFTER Saturday’s Arcadia Road Rally Sprint near Auckland.
He was co-driving for local driver Warwick Redfern in a Mitsubishi Lancer E9.
They finished inside the top ten despite tyre issues all day.
“Tyre wear was an issue struggled all day,” Moloney told Kerry Motorsport News. “The road was abrasive on tyres but overall a great da.”
Their next event is the Bothwell Loop Rallysprint on March 15 which will be based in the region of Pukekoh, where the late, great Possum Bourne came from.
