Marshals are needed for the Kevin Flynn Memorial run on Sunday

Marshals are needed for the Kevin Flynn Memorial run on Sunday.

Kevin was a popular member of Killarney and District Motor Club and was one those who could be relied upon to do any job to make sure an event ran on time and to high standards.

He died tragically in May last year. Kevin would have celebrated his 40th birthday this week and a road run has been organised in his memory and to raise funds for Pieta House.

Marshals are required to help run the event and motorsport enthusiasts in the county are asked to lend a hand on the day. Volunteers should report to Castleisland mart at 930am on Sunday morning.

“As you know Kevin was an active club member and was always there to help. So, if you can spare a few hours to help, his family would be most grateful,” said Killarney and District Motor Club secretary Norma Lucey.

The run will start in Castleisland and will finish in Firies.
